The Church of Christ has been in Bartlesville for over 100 years! It started in a living room in 1916 in the home of Barnabus and Lora Young. As other families joined them, they met in empty storefronts, above a hardware store, and ultimately, in a building they built downtown. As the town grew, the church at 6th and Dewey felt God’s call to plant a church in the residential East side of town, and Limestone Church of Christ was born. Many years and many changes later, the two churches merged into what is now the Adams Blvd Church of Christ. This rich history gives us a spirit of unity and vision for the future. And though many things have changed in the last century, what hasn’t changed is God’s desire to use our church as a place for people to find Jesus. He is calling us on, and we are running headlong into his future.
