The adult ministry exists to draw us together as Kingdom builders in our lives, our homes, our jobs, our community, and our church. We strive to be continually growing in our relationship with Christ through prayer, studying His word, fellowship and service. There are opportunities to do each of these through our Bible Classes on Sunday and Wednesdays and through the activities planned by our men's, ladies' and family life ministries.
Small Groups are another great way to grow in faith, practicing accountability and becoming stronger disciples for Christ.
Current Class Schedule
September 1 – December 29
Signs & Wonders - Gospel of John
Various Teachers (FLC 1): Signs, wonders, justice, power, truth, bread, life, and love. These are small words with eternal meaning, and John’s Gospel gives us so many great words to study and meditate upon. Words that bring us closer to the one who said, “I am”.
The Bible Project
Various Teachers (Dining Room): This is a video series by The Bible Project and includes a short five-minute video each week along with relevant discussion following the video. This series should help you understand what the Bible is, and the story it tells. By the end of this series, you will be familiar with every part of the Bible and how it uses language to communicate who God is, who we are, and the big, redemptive story that we are all living.
September 4 – October 16
Ladies’ Class - Just Open the Door
Tammy Ross (FLC 1): We are commanded to practice hospitality but that doesn't always mean a thorough cleaning of your house and the best china laid out. Jen Schmitt shows us how to do hospitality "Jesus Style" and reach out to bless the lives of others. We will be using her book "Just Open the Door" and videos in this seven-week ladies' class.
September 4 – December 18
Questions God Asks
Various Teachers (Dining Room): In this nine-session study, you will reflect on specific questions God asks people during important events in Scripture. These questions shed light on the human condition, God’s character, and the relationship he desires to have with us.
