Adults

The adult ministry exists to draw us together as Kingdom builders in our lives, our homes, our jobs, our community, and our church. We strive to be continually growing in our relationship with Christ through prayer, studying His word, fellowship and service. There are opportunities to do each of these through our Bible Classes on Sunday and Wednesdays and through the activities planned by our men's, ladies' and family life ministries.

Small Groups are another great way to grow in faith, practicing accountability and becoming stronger disciples for Christ.

Current Class Schedule

Sunday - 9:00 a.m.
Wednesday - 7:00 p.m.

"SMRT (Sunday Morning Round Table)", Daryl Hayes, Aaron Kirkpatrick, & Various (FLC DR): Have you ever felt when it comes to spiritual matters every issue is decided and everyone thinks the same way about a subject except maybe you? Do you ever ponder the various “what if” scenarios surrounding an issue and wonder if anyone else does too? Would you like it if there was a safe place where sincere believers could openly and lovingly discuss difficult subjects from different points of view? If any or all of these apply then come to the SMRT class where you can listen in as each week different panelists will discuss topics like sexuality, God’s will, the Holy Spirit, doubt, Christianity and politics, and much more.

"To Serve or Be served (Mark)", Lanny Seals (FLC 1): If the purpose of discipleship is to learn to be like the master, then there is no way to be a disciple of Jesus without learning how to serve. Mark more than any other writer portrays Jesus as the “suffering servant”, and Mark wants to show what it looks like to be a disciple of this servant Messiah.

"Sing a New Song", Craig Rathbone & Aaron Kirkpatrick (FLC 2): Learn new songs and updated versions of old hymns.

"Alien (1 Peter)", Daryl Hayes (FLC DR): For many today the word ‘alien’ brings up images of little green men or horrifying creatures that give us nightmares. Peter says that disciples of Jesus are to be aliens. This type of alien won’t give you nightmares but they will or at least should look very different from those “of this world.” This class will seek the practical applications of living a life set apart.

"Knit Together", Tammy Ross/Ladies’ Class (17 in Youth Center): Class will start with a short devotional.  We have plenty of yarn and needles and people to teach knitting and crocheting.  Items made in class can be donated to a variety of charities.
